Problems with the new updates

Updates causes to app to fail, does not work now,thanks.
Pressing the go home does not work. Missing title for radio podcast.

July 17th 2014 the new update failed. Is it because I have the old version of iPad? I try to down load the new version but no information on app. Deleted then tried again no information on app. I enjoy reading this app every morning . . . I would appreciate if you could fix it. Thanks, Elaine
